#Romania2019.eu/ Informal Meeting of EU Defence Ministers at Palace of Parliament

Defence ministers from EU Member States gathered at an informal meeting on Thursday morning at the Palace of Parliament to analyze the prospects for the implementation of the EU's Global Strategy for the Common Foreign and Security Policy, an event organized by the Romanian Presidency of the Council of the EU.

Participants in the meeting will assess initiatives such as the Permanent Structured Cooperation on Defense and Security (PESCO) or the European Defence Fund (EDF).

Member States' representatives are also expected to examine on Thursday how to strengthen the EU-NATO partnership on defence and security.
