DefMin Les gives assurance Military Hospital will have support for infrastructure projects development

Minister of National Defence Gabriel Les gave assurance that the Hospital Military will benefit from the entire support of the Ministry of National Defence (MApN) in ensuring all the necessary resources for the development of its infrastructure projects meant to improve the work conditions of the medical staff, so that the military and civil patients will benefit from medical services to match the European and NATO standards.

Gabriel Les on Tuesday participated in the activity assessment meeting of the Central Military Emergency University Hospital "Dr. Carol Davila" (SUUMC) for 2018, carried out at the headquarters of this medical unit, informs a press release of the MApN sent to AGERPRES.

"This institution's management must always be concerned with increasing the quality of the healthcare services it offers to patients. And this quality can only be ensured through continuous training, at the highest standards, of the medical staff, and also through acquisition of state-of-the-art equipment and modernization of the hospital infrastructure," said Minister Gabriel Les.

Major General Florentina Ionita-Radu, the SUUMC commander, presented the missions of the medical institutions, the activities and performance objectives established for the period of reference, as well as the objectives established for this year, with an emphasis on the elaboration and implementation of some critical strategic infrastructure development projects, specific to military medicine.
