Bulgaria has Detained One of the most Wanted Spanish Drug Traffickers
Spanish Civil Guard announced on Saturday that one of the most wanted Spanish drug traffickers was arrested in Bulgaria, who changed his appearance by significantly increasing his weight and preparing to flee to Venezuela, the France press reported.
The Spaniard with initials J.S.A. according to the Civic Guard, played a very important role in a "dangerous criminal organization that imported large quantities of cocaine from South America and was involved in money laundering in Spain and the rest of Europe."
He was wanted by the Spanish judiciary in 2013 and was one of the ten most wanted people in the Civil Guard, a statement published in Madrid said.
In early February, agents specializing in the search for fugitives in Spain learned he was in the Bulgarian port city of Varna. They admitted that it was "possible to carry a firearm while traveling and significantly altered his appearance by gainingmore than 50 pounds," the Civil Guard adds. According to them, the Bulgarian police confirmed this and made the arrest.
At the time of the arrest, the suspected drug trafficker had fake Spanish identity papers and planned to leave Bulgaria and travel to Venezuela in the coming days, the statement said.
