Roglič wins opening stage of Giro d'Italia

Competing for Jumbo-Visma, he claimed his second Tour de Romandie title only a week ago, and is viewed as one of the favourites for the three-week Giro d'Italia title.

This was Roglič's second stage win at the legendary race across Italy, which kicked off in Bologna. His first stage win at Giro d'Italia came in 2016.

Since then, the list of his achievements has also come to include victories at two individual stages of Tour de France. Last year, he completed the race fourth overall.
