Vaccination campaign/ 16,896 persons vaccinated in the past 24 hours

The National Committee for the Coordination of Anti-COVID Vaccination informs that, in the past 24 hours, 16,896 people have taken the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine, according to data provided by the National Institute of Public Health (INSP), through the National Electronic Register of Vaccinations application. According to a press release sent to AGERPRES, so far, 125,190 people have been vaccinated. Among those vaccinated in the past 24 hours, 40 had common and minor reactions, of which: 18 local reactions; 22 general reactions. As of December 27, 2020, 428 common and minor reactions were recorded at the level of vaccination centres, of which: 173 local reactions with pain at the place of the injection; 255 general reactions (fever, headache, myalgia, arthralgia, asthenia, urticaria allergies); another 2 reactions are under investigation. The programme at the vaccination centres ends at 8.00 pm, which is why the number of vaccinations performed between 5.00 pm and 8.00 pm will be reflected in the next day's report.
