CNCAV: 28,000 persons immunised in the past 24 hrs, less than half with first dose

Bucharest, June 30 /Agerpres/ - In the past 24 hours, 20,800 doses of vaccine were administered, of which 14,362 - Pfizer, 5,152 - Johnson & Johnson, 744 - Moderna and 542 - AstraZeneca, according to a report sent by the National Coordinating Committee on Vaccination Activities against COVID-19. According to CNCAV, in the same period, 9,977 people were vaccinated with the first dose and 10,823 with the second. As of December 27, 2020, 8,958,089 doses were given to 4,725,239 people, of whom 194,852 received a first dose and 4,530,387 the second. In the past 24 hours, 11 side effects were reported, one local and 10 systemic. Since the start of the vaccination campaign, there have been 16,587 adverse reactions recorded to COVID vaccines, 1,779 local and 14,808 systemic.
