Pahor agrees to organise international conference on tolerance

Ljubljana – President Borut Pahor has agreed to organise an international conference on tolerance in the spring in cooperation with the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts (SAZU) and the European Academy of Sciences and Arts EASA.

The initiative was taken to him by Honorary President of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts Felix Unger, the president of SAZU Peter Štih, and Ludvik Toplak, the president of Alma Mater Europaea.

Since 2013, Pahor has been a Protector of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts in Salzburg, which brings together around 2,000 eminent, internationally renowned scientists from Europe and around the world, including many Nobel laureates, Pahor’s office said in a press release.
