Dacic: Advancement of ties with US Serbia's strategic commitment

BELGRADE - Advancement of Serbia-US relations in areas of mutual significance is Serbia's strategic commitment, Serbian First Deputy PM and FM Ivica Dacic said during a conversation with US Ambassador to Belgrade Christopher Hill on Friday.

Dacic announced he would visit the US for next week's traditional Prayer Breakfast in Washington and also have meetings at the US Department of State and Congress.

Dacic and Hill expressed a commitment to stepped-up political dialogue and exchanges of visits by high-ranking and top Serbian and US state officials, the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.

Dacic and Hill also exchanged views on continued activities aimed at building further the partnership in the economy and in diversification of energy sources.
