Dacic meets with NATO's San

BELGRADE - Serbian First Deputy PM and FM Ivica Dacic met with NATO Deputy Assistant Secretary General for Operations Burcu San on Tuesday to discuss the present Serbia-NATO cooperation, the security situation in Kosovo-Metohija and the role of the NATO-led KFOR mission.

Dacic informed San of the present situation in Kosovo-Metohija and especially noted the significance and role of unbiased and status-neutral KFOR engagement with the main objective of preserving peace and stability, as well as protection of Serbs and other non-Albanians in the province.

San noted that NATO respected Serbia's policy of military neutrality and that KFOR continued to perform its mandate in a status-neutral manner, in line with UN SC Resolution 1244.
