Five Greek projects short-listed for Innovation in Politics Awards
Five Greek projects have been short-listed for this year's Innovation in Politics Awards, honoring courageous and creative political work with a meaningful impact on people's lives and democracy across Europe. The Amorgorama initiative, a finalist in the climate protection category, aims to support fish stocks and marine ecosystem regeneration by empowering fishermen in the Cyclades islands to follow models of sustainable, low-impact fishing. The other Greek projects are Just Go Zero Tilos, Housing and Work for the Homeless, Cultural H.ID.RA.N.T. (Cultural Hidden IDentities ReAppear through Networks of WaTer) and Municipal University of Ilion: Paving the Way Towards a Sustainable Learning City. The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony in Warsaw on May 11.
