Dacic, Botsan-Kharchenko discuss situation in region, bilateral ties

BELGRADE - Serbian First Deputy PM and FM Ivica Dacic received Russian Ambassador to Belgrade Alexander Botsan-Kharchenko on Monday to discuss the situation in the region and exchange views on plans and activities for further directions of development of bilateral cooperation, as well as on multilateral cooperation.

Dacic once again noted Serbia's commitment to the policy of peace and cooperation with a view to preserving stability in the Western Balkans, the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.

He noted that Serbia would remain committed to dialogue as the only way to seek a compromise solution.
