Caretaker interior minister announced

A professor of administrative science and former ombudsman will serve as caretaker interior minister in the run up to the general election on May 21, it has been announced.

Calliope Spanou will be sworn into the position on Sunday evening.

The Interior Ministry has responsibility for conducting elections.
