Committee launches procedure of so-called Kosovo's admission to CoE
BELGRADE - The Council of Europe (CoE) Committee of Ministers decided on Monday to launch the procedure of reviewing the so-called Kosovo's application for admission to the CoE.
A source at the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told Tanjug Hungary, Romania, Cyprus, Spain, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Serbia had voted against the move, while Bosnia and Herzegovina, Greece, Slovakia, Moldova and Ukraine abstained.
Thirty-three countries, including Montenegro, Slovenia, North Macedonia, Croatia and Albania, voted in favour.
The committee has 46 member states, and Pristina's application is now set to be tabled to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.
