Over a hundred Belgrade schools receive bomb alerts
BELGRADE - Over a hundred Belgrade schools received bomb alerts on Wednesday morning.
According to an official statement released by the Serbian Ministry of Education, the bomb alerts had been sent to 78 primary and 37 secondary schools by email.
The ministry said police teams were on the ground and that pupils and staff members had been evacuated from school buildings for security reasons.
It said morning classes had been suspended pending completion of security checks.
The ministry also said checks in some schools were already over and that classes were underway without problems after the bomb alerts had turned out to be false.
