Brnabic: There will be no caretaker gov't or violent media shutdowns

BELGRADE  - In response to an opposition leader, Serbian PM Ana Brnabic said in the parliament on Friday there would be no caretaker government or violent shutdowns of media outlets.

"You said our time is up - that might be true, but the citizens will have a say about that. We will ask them and they will have their say, but you will not be able to usurp the power before that," Brnabic told Dveri leader and MP Bosko Obradovic.

She added that there was no way to form a "caretaker expert government" without the people's will and without any institutions, in the streets.
