Panic: Putin sends the army to Moldova?

"The Republic of Moldova vehemently condemns threats directed at Moldova made by a Russian representative in the occupied part of Ukraine to attack a bridge between Moldova and Romania. This is not acceptable".
Moldova, a former Soviet Republic of 2.6 million people that borders Ukraine and Romania, has had to deal with large numbers of refugees, rising inflation, power outages and instability in the breakaway region of Transnistria, controlled by Russian separatists, since the start of the Russian invasion to Ukraine.
Last year, Russia denied it wanted to intervene in Moldova, after authorities in Transnistria said they had been the target of a series of attacks, the Guardian writes.
