Freediver Artnik sets another world record

Slovenian freediver Alenka Artnik has set another world record, diving 109 metres deep in bi-fin discipline (CWTB) at the Vertical Blue competition in the Bahamas.

The 41-year-old dived 107 metres on the third day of the competition to break personal and national records, and then went on to dive two metres deeper three days later to beat the world record.

"Who runs the world?! Women," the organisers of the competition wrote on their website. Artnik added: "The dive went exactly as I always want it to. That's not always easy. I feel the whole universe was supporting me today...
