Woman in critical condition after husband knife attack

A 22-year-old woman was attacked by her husband on Thursday night in the Ifaistos area of Komotini in northern Greece. According to state broadcaster ERT, the 37-year-old man, who was wielding a knife, injured his wife in the abdomen and chest.

The woman was rushed to hospital by the ambulance service after she cried for help, where she remains in critical condition. The suspect has been arrested.
