Serbia's focus on building bridges to whole world, Vucic says on US TV show

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic told the US television network Newsmax on Friday Serbia's focus was on building bridges - not only to countries in its region, but the whole world.

In a post on his buducnostsrbijeav Instagram profile after making a guest appearance on the Wake Up America morning news programme, Vucic wrote that it had been a pleasure to him to talk about current political affairs in the region with host Rob Finnerty and former US envoy for the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue Richard Grenell.

"I noted once again that Serbia's focus is on building bridges, not only to countries in the region, but the whole world," Vucic added.

On the show, Vucic said he was very concerned over escalatory measures taken recently by Pristina's PM Albin Kurti and noted that Belgrade expected a strong signal from the US administration and the EU.
