So-called Kosovo Police raid north Mitrovica hospital, seize camera footage

KOSOVSKA MITROVICA - Special units of the so-called Kosovo Police raided the Clinical Hospital Centre in the north of Kosovska Mitrovica on Friday morning, the institution's director Zlatan Elek told Tanjug.

He said Pristina's police had searched the laundry room and some offices without the knowledge of the hospital management and also seized footage from security cameras.

Elek said they had told him they had a court warrant to search the premises but that he had been unable to understand it as it had been written in Albanian.

He said the raid had unsettled the hospital's employees and patients.

Pristina's special police also raided four other locations in the north of Kosovo-Metohija on Friday, seizing three vehicles.
