Stojkovic: Home game vs Montenegro our most important in EURO qualifiers
STARA PAZOVA - The head coach of the Serbia men's national football team Dragan Pixie Stojkovic said on Monday he was perfectly calm ahead of a home game against Montenegro that he noted was his team's most important match in the UEFA EURO 2024 qualifiers.
Serbia will host Montenegro at the Rajko Mitic Stadium in Belgrade on Tuesday evening after a 2-1 away defeat to Group G leaders Hungary on Saturday.
"We had a training session yesterday and we will have one today. That is sufficient time to regenerate the energy for tomorrow's game," Stojkovic said at a press conference in Stara Pazova, near Belgrade.
He noted that Serbia fans supported his team.
"It is normal that the people support us. I do not know how ticket sales are going but I am not interested in that. We want to qualify for the EURO, we want to give our all and win. That is what we focus on,...
