Western Balkan countries sign agreement on mutual recognition of qualifications

TIRANA - Representatives of Western Balkan countries, including Serbian PM Ana Brnabic, signed in Tirana on Tuesday an agreement on mutual recognition of professional qualifications of nurses, veterinary doctors, pharmacists and midwives.

They also signed joint declarations on WiFi for the Western Balkan initiative and a single euro payments area, a declaration of intent on a regional climate partnership, a declaration on prevention of plastic pollution including marine waste, a declaration on the agreement on the Southeast Europe Transport Community, a CEFTA on facilitating trade and transport and a declaration on establishing a Convergence Observatory.

The agreements were signed as part of a Berlin Process summit.
