Djokovic beats Dimitrov to win Paris Masters
PARIS - Serbia's Novak Djokovic, the world number one in men's tennis, won the Paris Masters tournament by defeating Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov 6-4, 6-3 in the final on Sunday.
Djokovic thus claimed his 40th career Masters title and his seventh Paris Masters trophy, which is his sixth piece of silverware this season.
Djokovic, who won after an hour and 39 minutes of play, is now 12-1 head-to-head against Dimitrov.
The prize money at the Paris Masters was 5,779,335 euros.
