Grenell: Vucic's management of crisis created by Kurti helped SNS win
WASHINGTON - Former US presidential envoy for the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue Richard Grenell said Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic's good management of a crisis generated by Pristina's extremist leader Albin Kurti had helped the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) win Sunday's elections in Serbia.
"I'm hearing a lot of evidence claiming that Independents and retirees in Serbia ultimately voted for SNS because Vucic handled Kosovo's extremist leader Albin Kurti very well," Grenell wrote in a post on the social media network X.
"When the international community universally condemned Kurti, they liked how Vucic managed the crisis and stayed above it," Grenell noted.
