Lajovic through to Adelaide second round
ADELAIDE - Serbia's Dusan Lajovic is through to the second round of the Adelaide tennis tournament after defeating Australian Thanasi Kokkinakis 3-6, 6-1, 6-4 on Monday.
World number 52 Lajovic, who won after two hours and 12 minutes of play, is now 4-0 head-to-head against world number 68 Kokkinakis.
Lajovic will next face the winner of the tie between Czech Jiri Lehecka and Australian Adam Walton.
Serbian Miomir Kecmanovic is also through to the second round after a 6-4, 6-2 win over American Mackenzie McDonald earlier in the day.
Kecmanovic will next face Briton Jack Draper.
The prize money at the Adelaide ATP tournament is 661,585 dollars.
