Stano: EU, US positions on Pristina's behaviour converge almost hundred percent

BRUSSELS - European Commission spokesperson Peter Stano said on Wednesday that, in general, EU and US positions on Pristina and its officials converged almost a hundred percent.

Stano was speaking at a Brussels press briefing.

Asked to comment on a statement by US Western Balkans special envoy Gabriel Escobar that the EU and the US had a communication problem with Pristina's PM Albin Kurti and also objected to the failure to establish a Community of Serb Municipalities in Kosovo-Metohija, Stano responded:

"We are not commenting on individual remarks. Our partners assess the situation as they see fit. I can only say in general that, when it comes to Kosovo and the behavior of the current administration in Pristina, our views with our American partners converge almost one hundred percent," Stano said.
