Red Star Belgrade extend ABA League finals lead to 2-0

BELGRADE - Serbian basketball champions Red Star Belgrade beat arch-rivals Partizan 80-73 at home on Wednesday evening to extend their lead in the playoffs final series of the regional ABA League to 2-0.

In front of 7,867 Red Star fans at Belgrade's Aleksandar Nikolic Hall, Nemanja Nedovic led the hosts with 21 points and Joel Bolomboy and Milos Teodosic added 10 and nine points, respectively.

Jaleen Smith stood out for Partizan with 12 points and Zach LeDay, PJ Dozier and Bruno Caboclo each added 11 points.

Game 3 of the series will be played at the Belgrade Arena on Sunday evening.
