Vucevic thanks Greece for abstaining in UNGA vote, not recognising so-called Kosovo

BELGRADE - Serbian PM Milos Vucevic received Greek Ambassador to Belgrade Maria Levadi on Wednesday to discuss bilateral relations and comprehensive bilateral cooperation, and noted that Serbia attached great significance to further advancement of cooperation with Greece, based on the mutual trust and friendship between the two countries and the two peoples.

Vucevic thanked Greece for abstaining in a UN General Assembly vote on a Srebrenica resolution, the Serbian government said in a statement.

He noted that the resolution would in no way contribute to stabilisation in the region or help improve the relations between Serbs and Bosniaks.

"Serbia's strategic goal is to contribute to better life for all citizens of the region through infrastructure and development projects," he said.
