Belgrade city assembly passes 2024 budget

BELGRADE - The Belgrade City Assembly passed the 2024 budget bill on Monday.

The new budget, totalling over 173 bln dinars, was passed with 60 votes in favour and 18 against.

Assembly members from the Aleksandar Vucic - Belgrade Tomorrow list voted for the bill while the People's Movement of Serbia, the Democratic Party, the Green-Left Front, the Movement of Free Citizens and We, The Power of The People voted against.

The session was not attended by representatives of the Get Going - Change group, which walked out of the assembly following the verification of mandates.
