Vucic: Army has detected reconnaissance aircraft activity from all directions

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Wednesday the Serbian Armed Forces had detected increased reconnaissance activity by both manned and unmanned aircraft from all directions but that Serbia's borders had not been crossed.

Speaking to reporters after a session of the expanded Collegium of the Serbian Armed Forces Chief of General Staff, Vucic said Pristina's Bayraktar UAVs had taken off from Djakovica on June 5 and 20, reaching altitudes of up to 5,000 m to perform reconnaissance of Serbian Armed Forces positions.

"Also, Swedish-German aircraft have made images, not from the territory controlled by the Serbian Armed Forces, but from other territories that are not under Serbian control, but they make very accurate images due to the presence of security and military forces in the territory of central Serbia," Vucic said.
