The floating platform for the safe disembarkation of visitors returned to Balos, Crete

The floating platform has arrived back at Balos beach, which will help ensure the smooth and safe disembarkation of visitors at the beach.

The platform was present at Balos in previous years, but was removed this summer, following the Joint Ministerial Decision issued in September 2023, which concerned the safe disembarkation and embarkation of visitors on day boats, putting visitors in “adventures”.

The licensed floating platform remained in the port of Kissamos yesterday and this morning it was moved to Balos by the “Consortium of Shipping Companies Cretan Daily Cruises” in order to be installed at a point where it will serve the safe disembarkation on the beach.
