Process starts for purchase of encroached state land

The first applications for the purchase of the encroached properties from the state by private individuals can be submitted from September 30.

In the first stage the applications will concern 20 regional units and at the end of October they will be extended to the entire country, according to sources at the Ministry of National Economy and Finance.

The purchase price will be calculated based on the property rates used for tax purposes (known as "objective values") ​and on social criteria (for vulnerable groups, large families, people with disabilities), while discounts of up to 80% of the objective value are provided for.
