Brnabic: Vucic to do all he can to preserve peace but will not abandon Kosovo-Metohija Serbs
BELGRADE - Serbian Parliament Speaker Ana Brnabic said on Wednesday President Aleksandar Vucic would do everything in his power to preserve peace but would not abandon Serbs in Kosovo-Metohija.
"The situation is difficult... The diplomacy is doing its job, Aleksandar Vucic is fighting, and we will soon know what we need to do," Brnabic told Pink TV in a comment on Vucic's statement on Monday that he would announce specific demands and measures within 72 hours in the wake of the most recent arrests of Serbs in Kosovo-Metohija.
Pristina is displaying force against the Kosovo-Metohija Serbs on a daily basis, she said.
Asked if Albin Kurti's terror could be stopped, Brnabic noted that it was now clear to everyone that Kurti's sole goal was to expel all Serbs from the territory of Serbia's southern province to create an ethnically clean so-called Kosovo.
