Chrilling video has captured the moment a vase falls and strikes 30-year-old Kiara Jaconis in the head, fatally injuring her while she was walking in an alley in Naples, Italy.

The video shows the chilling sound the statue made when it struck the unsuspecting tourist in the head while she was walking with her partner.

According to Italian media, the most likely scenario being considered is that the statue was thrown by two children from the balcony of their home.

Italian authorities have already arrested the parents of the two children and charged them with manslaughter.

Jacqueline, who had travelled to Italy to celebrate her birthday, was taken to hospital badly injured where she ended up two days later due to severe head injuries.
