Ten PAMAK scientists in the 2% of the world’s most distinguished scientists

Nine members of the faculty of the University of Macedonia and one PhD student are ranked in the top 2% of the scientific field in which they are active in the annual rankings announced by the scientific publishing house Elsevier and Stanford University, USA.

The criterion for the inclusion of scientists in this ranking is the impact of their work and objective criteria such as the number of citations or the impact factor.

In particular, the table, based on data from Scopus, the largest database of abstracts and citations of peer-reviewed scientific publications, has two rankings.
