Shooting in Kolonos: Guns drawn over personal disputes – One injured, perpetrator sought

A shooting incident between two individuals took place today, Sunday, outside a grill house in Kolonos.

According to initial information from police sources, the two men, of Greek origin, reportedly had a previous dispute. Their confrontation, related to personal differences involving a woman, escalated, leading one of the men to draw a gun and shoot the other in the shoulder blade.

A shell casing was found at the scene.

The injured man was taken to the Evangelismos hospital, while police are conducting an investigation to locate and arrest the perpetrator, who, according to reports, has been identified.

“It was a woman and two men. I heard them arguing. He pulled out a gun, and the woman was screaming ‘police.’ Then the police and an ambulance arrived,” said one female eyewitness at the scene.

Another eyewitness, sitting at a nearby table when the fight broke out, stated that she saw a woman next to the victim shouting, “I have all of you as witnesses.”
