Stefanos Tsitsipas: Continues with Coach Dimitris Chatzinikolaou for the New Season – Video

After his sudden split with his father, Tsitsipas has been working with Chatzinikolaou for the past two months. Although he hasn’t shown dramatic improvement yet, as he mentioned to Tennis TV, they will continue their partnership into the new season, as they appear to have found good chemistry both on and off the court.

“He’s my coach for the rest of this season and the next, we’ve made that decision. This won’t change for now, and I’ve made up my mind. He’s the person I trust completely to be by my side,” Tsitsipas said in an interview with Tennis TV.

Tsitsipas is aiming to qualify for the ATP Finals at the end of the year, but he’s currently lagging in the rankings. On that goal, he stated: “It’s just one Masters tournament (laughs). Anything can happen in the next five weeks. Things just need to fall into place at the right time. I can’t deny that results need to come, and without them, I might miss out on the ATP Finals. What I want now is to bounce back because I haven’t been performing, and I want to recapture those great moments I had in the past in the upcoming weeks.”
