Vucevic: MoU on building joint gas pipeline signed with N Macedonia

SKOPJE - Serbian PM Milos Vucevic said on Monday in Skopje the governments of Serbia and North Macedonia had agreed and signed a MoU on joint construction of a 70 km gas pipeline with an annual capacity of around 1.2 bln cubic meters.

At a press conference with North Macedonian PM Hristijan Mickoski, Vucevic said the MoU between the Serbian Ministry of Mining and Energy and its North Macedonian equivalent would lead to the construction of a new natural gas interconnector.

Serbia aims to obtain another gas supply route from the Greek city of Alexandroupolis via North Macedonia, he said.
