Vucic arrives in Hamburg for sustainability conference

HAMBURG - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has arrived in Hamburg for a sustainability conference that will address further implementation of shared processes aimed at achieving the UN's sustainability goals.

Vucic was welcomed by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.

The conference, to held for the first time, will be opened by Scholz, with its first panel to also be addressed by World Bank President Ajay Banga, Namibian President Nangolo Mbumba and Barbadian PM Mia Mottley.

The conference will be attended by heads of state, representatives of the private sector and the academic community, the civil society and international organisations.

Vucic will speak at Tuesday's panel on a new alliance for a responsible circular chain of battery supplies.
