These are the Hellenic Police officers who will staff the Greek FBI

The decision by the chief of the Hellenic Police was issued on Monday for the placement of the lieutenant generals and brigadier generals who will staff the new agency that will operate along the lines of the FBI.

According to reports, Major General Fotis Douitsis will be the commander of the Directorate of Organized Crime Enforcement (the official name of the new service), while Major General Giorgos Tzimas (who was the director of the Thessaloniki Security) will be the deputy director.

Brigadier-General George Mangas moves from the abolished Economic Police, where he was director, to the Attica Security Directorate as director. Brigadier General Giannis Stavrakakis from the Immigration and Border Protection Branch moves to the Greek FBI as second assistant director.

Andonia Leoussi from the Immigration Directorate moves to the Office of Mr. Chief of Staff. Alexis Kotsiopoulos from the Attica Security Directorate to the GADA. Brigadier General Georgos Bourodimos from the Attica Security Directorate to the GADA. Vassilis Papakostas from the Directorate of Cybercrime in the Aliens and Border Protection Branch, as head.

Alexandros Stamatiou at the Directorate of Security of Attica, where he serves, as an assistant.

Konstantinos Athanasakos from the Thessaloniki Directorate of Direct Action in the Thessaloniki Security Directorate, as director.
