Vucevic, Blanar discuss advancement of bilateral cooperation

BELGRADE - Serbian PM Milos Vucevic and Slovak FM Juraj Blanar met in Belgrade on Friday to discuss bilateral relations between their traditionally close and friendly countries, as well as advancement of cooperation.

Vucevic noted that he highly appreciated Slovakia's support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Serbia, and its firm position of non-recogniton of the unilaterally declared independence of the so-called Kosovo, the Serbian government said in a statement.

Vucevic thanked Slovakia for abstaining in a UN General Assembly vote on a Srebrenica resolution and noted that the resolution would in no way contribute to stabilisation in the region or improvement of the relationship between Serbs and Bosniaks.
