Weather: Advanced spring will be reminiscent during the October 28th long weekend

The weather during the October 28th long weekend will resemble advanced spring, with drought continuing into next week, according to meteorologists’ predictions.

This year’s “St. Demetrius’ summer” will be present again, with good weather and sunshine throughout the country, according to Klearchos Marousakis.

As the meteorologist from OPEN notes, the “northern weather” is affecting our country, with the northern wind passing over the sea and picking up more humidity, resulting in clouds in areas where the topography favors it.

The atmospheric circulation will not change, as this extensive anticyclone continues to cover a large part of Europe, resulting in mild weather conditions and northern winds in the Aegean near 6 Beaufort. These northern winds will remain at the same intensity until October 28th, while the weather is expected to feel like advanced spring, with temperatures reaching 23-25 degrees Celsius in many geographical areas. At least until the beginning of next week, no rain is expected, with drought continuing.

In a post, Thodoris Kolydas speaks of nearly clear weather with sparse clouds, winds not exceeding 5 to 6 Beaufort, and temperatures at normal levels for the season.

The director of EMY, in another post, reminds us that “on this day, October 25, 2009, we had heavy rains and thunderstorms mainly in the central and southern parts and in Crete, with 177 millimeters of rain recorded in Tzermiadon, Lasithi. At the same time, a waterspout was recorded in the Saronic Gulf.”
