More Euroleague wins for Reds and Greens

The Greek teams confirmed this week they are once again among the favorites for the Final Four, making it four wins out of four games in this double take of games for each one of them. On Thursday Olympiakos dismissed Barcelona in Piraeus and on Friday Panathinaikos defeated high-flying Red Star in Belgrade.

Two days after beating Real Madrid at home, the Reds scored another landmark win against a Spanish side, this time overpowering Barcelona 95-74, to improve their record to 4-3.

After the first quarter, the Piraeus team moved well ahead of its visitor with its solid all-around game that left Barca unable to match its host's prolific offense.

Irresistible Evan Fournier was the top scorer for Olympiakos with 19 points, as Sasha Vezenkov notched up 18.

Panathinaikos did it the hard way in Serbia, as it came back from 14 points down to beat Red Star...
