Man fatally shot in Kypseli

A man of Turkish descent was fatally shot Tuesday in Athens' Kypseli district.

The altercation took place at the intersection of Lesvou and Patission streets. Police recovered nine shell casings from the scene.

A passerby was reportedly treated for shock following the incident.

Authorities are searching for at least two suspects, and the Organized Crime Division is expected to take over the investigation as they work to determine the motive behind the attack.
