Two arrested in major drug bust

Authorities have arrested two individuals suspected of being part of a criminal organization involved in the large-scale storage and export of illegal drugs, including MDMA and methamphetamine.

The arrests took place on Wednesday after a raid by the Narcotics Division in the Attica region.

The suspects were caught transporting the drugs between warehouses. Investigators discovered 55.9 kilos of MDMA and 29.9 kilos of methamphetamine hidden in 20 containers marked as carrying legal cargo. Along with the drugs, authorities seized a computer, three mobile phones, and shipping documents.

The suspects have been charged and are facing prosecution. The investigation is ongoing, with international law enforcement authorities assisting.
