Russia launched ballistic missile against Ukraine, Kiev says

 

Russia has fired an ballistic missile from the Astrakhan region against Ukraine, the Ukrainian Air Force said Thursday morning.

According to the same statement, in the wave that occurred between 5 and 7 this morning, the Dnipro area was targeted.

In addition to the Kh-47M2 Kinzhal ballistic missile , the Russian forces fired seven Kh-101 cruise missiles.

The ballistic missile was fired by a MiG-31K fighter and the remaining missiles by a Tu-95MS bomber.

According to the Ukrainian Air Force, Ukraine’s anti-aircraft systems destroyed six of the Kh-101 missiles while the remaining missiles were reported to have had no major consequences.
