Support for the patriarchates

The government's decision to support the patriarchates and those who serve in them has more significance than it might seem at first glance.

These are centers of Orthodoxy and Hellenism that have survived through the centuries without the Greece giving them the help they deserve. Now they must persevere and maintain their identity amid crises and geopolitical pressures.
