Police operation leads to three arrests for possession of child pornography

The operation codenamed "Talos" led to the arrest of three individuals, while charges have been filed against two more for possession of child pornography. 

The cyber crime division, after utilizing information from foreign authorities, identified internet users in Greece who accessed websites and applications containing illegal material.

Following this analysis, authorities tracked down these users and, under the supervision of a judicial officer, conducted searches in their homes. 

Among those accused is a 48-year-old military officer from Attica, where authorities seized six hard drives during a search of his residence.

A 23-year-old university student in Larisa was also arrested after hard drives containing video material were discovered in his possession.
