Poll highlights public discontent with government

An ALCO poll for Alpha TV released Tuesday reveals widespread dissatisfaction with the Greek government's handling of key issues, including inflation, crime, education, healthcare, transparency and foreign policy.

According to the survey, 90% of respondents are unhappy with the government's response to inflation, while 82% disapprove of efforts to address crime. Negative ratings also extend to healthcare (74%), transparency and meritocracy (72%), education (66%) and foreign policy (48%).

The only area with positive feedback was strengthening the armed forces, where 49% expressed satisfaction, compared to 39% dissatisfaction.

National Defense Minister Nikos Dendias was rated the most successful government official, with 31% approval, followed by Digital Governance Minister Kyriakos Pierrakakis (11%) and Health Minister Adonis Georgiadis (8%).
