AI to determine values of 36,000 state property assets

Growthfund's management presented on Tuesday the strategic objectives of the state asset utilization super-fund for the next three years (2025-2027), emphasizing the difficult challenges on the fronts of urban transportation, regional airports, the valuation and management of public real estate, Hellenic Post, etc.

Its CEO, Grigoris Dimitriadis, set a goal of increasing operating profitability (EBITDA) by 35% by the end of the three-year period, as well as increasing return on assets to 3.4% from 2.5%.

"Our goal is to have functionally and properly absorbed [privatization fund] TAIPED and the Hellenic Financial Stability Fund," he said, speaking about the outlook for Growthfund and its transformation into a sovereign wealth fund, while also referring to the "failed mergers in the state", giving Hellenic Public Properties Company (ETAD) as a typical example.
